Empowering Deaf Guatemalan Children through Education

After being moved by meeting Deaf children, Alvaro felt compelled to establish LAVOSI, a school dedicated to educating Deaf children in Jocotenango. The school provides a safe haven for Deaf Guatemalan children where they can finally be understood and understand others. They are discovering their significance to their communities and country, and are being raised as role models for future generations of Deaf children in Guatemala.

LAVOSI is always looking for support to continue their good work. The Organization of Unique Learners (OUL) is one such organization that wants to help.
